Biker Clubs Rev Up A Fundraiser
79-year old Koh Tian Seong discovered its never too late to be a rebel, after taking a Honda Goldwing superbike for a spin, along with about a thousand bikers. The motorcycle clubs braved the rain and took to the streets for a good cause – to raise funds for the Singapore Power (SP) Heartware Fund, and to spread cheer to the needy elderly ahead of the Chinese New Year. Jointly organised by Riders Aid and Singapore Power, the bikers donations were presented to guest of Honour Mr K. Shanmugam, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Minister for Law. The bikers raised over $10000 in total, wiith the sum being matched dollar-for-dollar by Singapore Powers Heartware Fund.
